While most of us have never heard of Dravet Syndrome, it doesn’t mean it’s less important that any other ailment inflicted out youth today.
When we know more, we can do more and we want to sound the alarm and alert the word about Dravet Syndrome and make it roll off people’s tongues in a way that propels them to support.
So now that you know that Dravet Syndrome exists and you even now have a little friend named Taylen you can help support, what are you propelled to do?
Well June 23 is Dravet Syndrome day and there are many ways you can help get the word out:
- You can be an ambassador. We can send you a badge to post all over social media to support our cause and help to bring consciousness to it.
- You can DONATE! We want to be the go-to organization to help parents get the answers and resources they need about the disease and to help offset expensive medical costs since so many of the medications needed for Dravet are not covered by insurance companies.
- You can be a VOICE and organize a meeting with your local Congressman or representative to bring awareness to this cost. More research dollars are needed to help support Dravet Syndrome research. Remember, there are many more “Taylens” out there who need our help.
